No one should forget what was done September 11, 2001. They should think
before they listen to those who blame the victims..... as if they were asking
for it...... It is something I won't tolerate. So, there are not just
inanimate buildings pictured here, but the hurt, injured, dead, those hung
out windows, crying, hoping for a rescue that never came, with no choices,
no way out, no way to get back to their families, their loved ones. Trapped,
with only ONE option: to jump from upper floors driven insane by the searing
of jet fuel fire and terror of death - driven by pain to jump hundreds of
stories to the pavement, hopefully dead before they reached the gound. Never
forget those who could do nothing to save them, who had to stand helpless
in the streets, or flying around the building in helicopters, watching as
the horror continued, unable to DO anything, struggling to think of
something to do, some way to help, some way to stop the carnage, trapped
in HELPLESSNESS. These pictures are not 'graphic' by today's
sense of that term but they are emotionally disturbing for any who can empathize
with what each must have felt that day, for me they will always be disturbing.
And, the aftermath will always be there for those left behind with no arms
to hold them in the night, no father/mother to watch the first school play,
the first baseball game, no special voice speaking pride in the achievements
of their children, no whispered "I love you" from a life spouse. How
can ANYONE forget, more importantly how in all that is good can they JUSTIFY
what was done that day? I will not forget nor allow others to justify it
based on some philosophical/ ideological platform.
The blame lies with the murderers , whether they
flew the planes or planned the act.....a group of hate-filled men who use
none of their millions of dollars to alleviate the suffering in their
countries, who made their peaceful God into one who propagates hatred and
death, who twist the minds of others to murder and hatred. They are not holy
warriors, they are EVIL and nothing excuses evil ! THINK for one minute....
how much better the lives of the poor in the Middle East if all the
billions over the years collected by the various charities to help them ACTUALLY
built their homes, opened businesses, started industries which would provide
them JOBS , provide them the means to stand proud and independent of that
same charity??? But, instead it goes to arm terrorists, and thugs, to line
the pockets of those in power.
