Dreams

Light years ago it seems,
sitting dreaming dreams
plans of happy days

You love, as you should,
young, the world seems good,
wondrous in all ways.

Time passes, makes things change
needs differ, re-arrange
yet, dreams remain.

Slowly, glitter tarnish
happy dream vanish,
living only pain.

Wounds heal, again you try
hoping for bluer sky
dreaming future still.

Change again, you pray
please, someone help some way,
love must fulfill.

But all now slowly dies
your lost, alone, please why?
no joyous years.

Existing, no future dreams
just life, it's cruel hard schemes,
but no more tears.

Build wall; heart's safety house
let no one now arouse
hope's sleeping song.

Always alone, just you,
guard, let no one through,
but know it's wrong.

Time, in eyes you see
love, as it should be?
Fear, is it a lie?

Time:
and so dreams die.©
